To some this may seem like a whirlwind romance, but we were actually first acquainted in May of 2016! Chris was surprised to see a familiar face from the gym when he arrived to interview for the executive chef position at 618.

After accepting this new job, we became fast friends, enjoying our morning tea and chit chatting about our favorite restaurants. As we began working together things just flowed naturally as we got to know more about each other and all of the things we had in common.

I soon moved on from that job, but that didnt prevent us from continuing our friendship, meeting up for coffee dates and an occasional drink around town with our mutual friends.

As 2020 barreled in , our personal circumstances as well as the entire world as we knew it drastically shifted. Before I knew it, Chris had talked me into coming back to work at 618 (what a sneaky guy ). From there we began to spend more time together and when the the time was finally right, and the stars aligned (and I came to my senses), we went out on our very first official date after 8 years.

Things took on a life of their own at that point and it was like we had been doing this together for years .It was the easiest, most seamless transition and as they say, The rest is history!

We are incredibly excited to bring our families and friends together for this very special occasion, as we celebrate a true love story that has been years in the making . We have both waited a long time for this, and what better way to do it then to share our most favorite place with all of you !
